Is HVO100 really becoming more and more important as a “green” diesel substitute?
According to the German transport newspaper DVZ: YES – especially in the truck and fleet sector!
According to the DVZ, the main reason for this is that the breakthrough of e-trucks is faltering.
In contrast, the filling station network for HVO100 is growing continuously and could now receive a further boost if HVO production increases!
Good to know for haulage companies:
1/ Thanks to HVO100, existing diesel trucks can continue to be used without expensive infrastructure investments. These would also meet the sustainability targets. And at only moderate additional costs!
2/ According to DVZ, HVO100 is exempt from the COâ‚‚ levy.
Means: From 2027, when emissions trading is tightened, conventional diesel will become more expensive – HVO100 could then be the best economic choice for the fleet!!!
So it’s best to find out quickly and switch to synthetic fuel today!
