Due to the e-car market: eFuels soon to be more necessary than ever?

Internal combustion car or electric car – which of the two is currently the clear trend among private individuals – and which is not?

The new “HUK-E-Barometer” from insurer HUK Coburg provides valuable facts and figures as an “indicator of the development, spread and acceptance of electromobility in Germany”!

According to HUK Coburg, this makes it possible for the first time to “measure the frequency with which the German private population switches from combustion engines (petrol, diesel, gas, hybrid, other) to purely electrically powered cars. In addition, the number of purely electric cars in the German private population and the dynamics of market share development (quota dynamics) can be observed on a quarterly basis”.

Impressive results: According to the barometer, for example, 40 percent fewer people are switching from a combustion engine to an electric car following the abolition of the state purchase premium – since the beginning of the year, the proportion has actually only averaged 3.6%. One in three e-car drivers even switched back to a combustion engine.

It’s good that combustion cars could be powered by eFuels in a more climate-friendly way in the future – politicians just need to finally understand this and seriously promote it instead of putting the brakes on!

The Bundestag elections in February 2025 can certainly make a difference!!!
