eFuel GmbH invests in start-up for DAC

Tailwind for innovative technologies for the production of synthetic fuels using direct air capture (DAC)! Especially for the next step in the ramp-up of CO2-neutral fuels, it is now important to keep at it and work on ever better implementation solutions and concepts.
This is exactly what some of our eFuels Forum friends have now done and have become shareholders in DACMA GmbH as part of the“Hamburg Blue Hub” project in the eFuel GmbH merger. Press releaseGoodto know: DACMA GmbH is a Hamburg-based start-up that has developed a pioneering technology for climate protection.
One of DACMA’s current projects involves the construction of a direct air capture plant in the Port of Hamburg with a capacity of 60 tons of CO2 per year.
This plant will filter CO2 from the ambient air, which can then be used as a raw material for the production of e-methanol or e-fuels, for example.
We congratulate this great partnership between SMEs and start-ups and their commitment to a sustainable and climate-friendly future!
