Due to the still too high CO2 emissions in 2021 in the transport sector – around 148 million tons of CO2 equivalents – Federal Minister of Transport Volker Wissing (FDP) has now launched an“immediate climate protection program“.
The most important point: The DIN standard (DIN EN 15940) for renewable electricity-based diesel fuels(eFuels) is to be approved in the future – a very good further step towards technology openness and achieving the climate targets.
