Is there really no progress on the subject of synthetic fuels, as is often claimed?
Of course: DOCH!
For example, the energy company Mabanaft and HIF Global recently signed an agreement on the planned purchase of e-methanol and thus their commitment to the promotion of low-carbon fuels for the shipping industry.
It also states:
The agreement forms the starting point for negotiations to determine the terms of a potential offtake agreement. While HIF Global continues to develop its e-fuels plants, Mabanaft will continue to explore the demand for various methanol applications with its customers.
Volker Ebeling, Senior Vice President New Energy, Supply & Infrastructure at Mabanaft, also affirms: “We strongly believe in the potential of e-methanol as one of the keys to the energy transition and are proud to deepen our partnership with HIF Global.
