As a partner, Condor thus supports the further development of the CAPHENIA process to market maturity and at the same time secures access to firmly agreed purchase quantities as soon as production takes place on an industrial scale. This is expected to happen in 2027.
Dr. Mark Misselhorn, CEO of CAPHENIA, comments on the significance of the cooperation: “The partnership with Condor is an outstanding step for the development of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). The signal it sends out in this crucial phase of the ramp-up of SAF production is groundbreaking. It shows the market and potential investors that it is possible to provide the required quantities of SAF for air traffic through cooperation and foresight. We are very aware of the importance of this unique partnership with Condor, which is a beacon for the entire industry and reaffirms our commitment to making aviation sustainable.”
