Do the majority of Germans really want a ban on combustion engines from 2035?
INSA clearly says NO according to #Bild!!!
61 % are against!!!
That is a clear majority!!!
Many experts and politicians – especially from the FDP and the CDU/CSU – are of the same opinion and want to finally overturn the ban that has been pushed through by the EU from behind!!!
Söder (CSU) clearly told Bild:
“The 2035 ban on combustion engines is wrong and must therefore be withdrawn!” The whole world is happy to drive our cars, only Europe is putting on the brakes. “Our car manufacturers are world leaders in the construction of combustion engines. It is therefore downright absurd to shut down a functioning technology and leave it to other countries in the future.”
And Friedrich Merz (CDU) was also very clear to the Handelsblatt recently:
“The idea is to ban a technology for which there is still no replacement.”

The ban on combustion engines makes no sense, especially in view of the fact that there are already renewable, climate-friendly fuels such as HVO100 and eFuels (synthetic fuels) that can simply be used to refuel existing engines!
The European elections24 can certainly achieve a lot when it comes to phasing out combustion engines!
