Clean start to the new year: the alternatives to crude oil and fossil diesel are coming!
Since the legislator finally decided at the end of last year to allow fuels that reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%, these will now gradually become available at German filling stations, according to the ADAC. The paraffinic diesel HVO100 is the main focus here.
And pure eFuels (synthetic fuels) are also “approved in principle”. However, in order to bring these onto the market across the board, a little more political tailwind is needed.
