Offset? Expert contradicts former VW boss on the subject of the inefficiency of eFuels

eFuels or battery? What is really more efficient?

On the subject of the efficiency and effectiveness of synthetic fuels(eFuels), insane figures and calculation examples keep circulating through the media – especially when it comes to comparison with battery drives.

On “Markus Lanz,” for example, former VW CEO Herbert Diess recently publicly provided a calculation example for the inefficiency of synthetic fuels, which Professor Thomas Koch of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology immediately refuted just as publicly on focus.de. Thereby he made a completely different calculation and comes – like also VW-internal data – according to focus to an interesting result!
