Ministry of the Environment promotes construction of eFuels production plant

It is finally becoming clear that the topic of eFuels has now also gradually arrived in German politics. Whereby even “electric mouthpieces” like “electric car news” recently brought synthetic fuels into play.

The Karlsruhe-based cleantech company INERATEC says it is receiving around 6 million euros from the Federal Ministry for the Environment’s Environmental Innovation Program (UIP). The amount will be used in the construction of the world’s first large-scale industrial production plant for synthetic fuel in Germany, which will come on stream as early as 2023.
