UNITI campaign for the Bundestag elections

Are political decision-makers and voters really sufficiently informed on the subject of renewable fuels and the EU ban on combustion engines in view of the Bundestag elections on February 23?

The UNITI Bundesverband EnergieMittelstand e.V. (Federal Association of Energy SMEs ) believes that its information campaign is at least urgently informative. “No to the end of the combustion engine. Yes to renewable fuels.” to have to follow suit. The reasons for this are probably the media coverage of the “bad” combustion engine and the “good” electric car, which has been far too one-sided and often ideological for years, as well as a lack of willingness to provide information or even a refusal to address the issue that affects us all. Yet renewable fuels such as HVO and eFuels are already real alternatives to the combustion engine with a huge impact – both for the climate and our economy.
This means that every diesel car could simply continue to be operated in the future and refuelled with more climate-friendly diesel.
Switching to electric cars is not necessary to do something for the climate.
