Autobild: European premiere of KlimaBenzin95

Is there really no progress on the subject of synthetic fuels and eFuels, as some media and critics are constantly claiming?

Of course: DOCH!!!

Autobild, for example, recently reported on the European premiere of the new Klimabenzin95 fuel in Lower Saxony.

According to the filling station operator, the special thing about it:
“The new petrol is 95 percent fossil-free and is made from green methanol. It is a waste product from paper production, i.e. a raw material produced from renewable, non-fossil materials. This reduces COâ‚‚ emissions by 90 percent compared to conventional petrol.”

The fuel is produced using the methanol-to-gasoline (MTG) process () and, according to Autobild, makes gasoline-powered cars almost CO2-free to drive.

What’s more, thanks to HVO fuels, even older and modern diesel vehicles can now be operated with greatly reduced CO2 emissions!

Given the huge existing fleet of cars, trucks, buses, trains, ships and airplanes in Germany, Europe and the world, it is therefore very questionable why EU politicians are still treating this option rather neglectfully and want to bring about the end of combustion engines almost by political and ideological force.

Because it is not the combustion engine that is the “climate problem”, but the fossil fuel. And this is obviously being replaced bit by bit.
