VDA is in favor of more commitment to eFuels

Can the climate targets really only be achieved with eFuels? The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) says quite clearly: YES – on the one hand, of course, for the overwhelming existing fleet of combustion cars in Germany and worldwide (approx. 1.5 billion cars in 2030) and, on the other hand, from a global perspective, “where battery-electric solutions face challenges”, such as in air or sea transport.
VDA: “The great advantage of hydrogen and e-fuels is that they offer the only possibility to date of storing renewable energy on a large scale and transporting it over long distances.
This can create synergies between climate and development policy.”

So why keep politically blocking the effective solution of “renewable fuels”?
