Fritz Indra on the abolition of the e-car environmental bonus

Is the end of the state environmental bonus for e-cars since December 23 actually correct?

The experts clearly say yes.

As car expert Fritz Indra, former engine and vehicle developer for Audi, Alpina and General Motors, aptly emphasizes in a recently published Focus interview:

“It’s all well and good for the state to promote a new technology at the beginning. But if you realize that the funding is of no use and the technology is not well received by customers, then you should end it as quickly as possible.”

And even “car pope” Dudenhöffer has this to say: “Used e-vehicles are passed on like hot potatoes.”

Against this background, it is important to have alternatives!

Synthetic fuels (eFuels) and HVO fuels for existing and future combustion engines could play an important role here and quickly and easily reduce new CO2 emissions from diesel by up to 90 %.

To achieve this, it is crucial to overturn the EU’s planned, ideologically motivated ban on combustion engines and finally act in a way that is open to all technologies.

The European elections in June could make a difference!
