A good next step:
According to verbaende.com, the “Federal Cabinet has adopted the draft revision of the 37th BImSchV (Ordinance on the Implementation of the Federal Immission Control Act), which is intended to transpose recently adopted EU regulations into national law”.
And further:
“This will start a legislative process that will decide on the introduction of national rules for the production of eFuels and hydrogen, among other things, but also on an adjusted crediting of such electricity-based fuels to the greenhouse gas quota.”
This is of course a very good step, but it must be quickly followed by further decisive steps – especially when it comes to improving the EU’s attractiveness as a sales market. Because only an attractive sales market creates the basis for an effective and successful ramp-up of future energies!
