BMW and Mercedes continue to rely on verbena engines

It’s good that, according to elektroauto-news.net and the Handelsblatt, BMW and Mercedes now also want to hold on to combustion engines“for a long time to come” and thus keep a “back door” open for themselves in the future.
The reasons for this are the“sluggish sales of electric vehicles” due to the lack of infrastructure, as well as the fact that neither China nor the USA have specified a possible end to internal combustion engines!

According to elektroauto-news.net and Handlsblatt, BMW CEO Oliver Zipse commented: “There may be competitors who would rather curtail their diversity and thus take a shrinking course. All I can say is: That’s not our idea.”
