It’s good to see that even large corporations like Volkswagen AG are now rethinking the topic of eFuels. For example, VW’s new CEO Oliver Blume told Automobilwoche that eFuels are “a sensible addition to electromobility. Vehicles with combustion engines will still be around in decades. With synthetic fuels, these cars could contribute to rapid CO2 reductions.”
Technology openness and diversity in the energy market are now also in demand from a sustainable perspective. And a strategy with allelectric will never work.
