E-Fuels: Green energy of the future

One of the most important advantages of eFuels is that these fuels can be called the“Green Energy of the Future” without hesitation.
The reason for this is that only green electricity from solar and wind energy is used in their production, and the fuels are virtually made from water and the CO2 from the air in the further process – C02neutral and in unlimited quantities.
Following the EU’s decision in favor of eFuels, plants are now being built for this purpose around the world in sun- and wind-rich regions, since unlimited green power generation is naturally possible there. The e-fuel produced can then be effortlessly imported in tanks to Germany and Europe via the existing infrastructure and used throughout the transport sector.
The good thing is that even the means of transport, such as ships or trucks, can be powered by eFuels in existing combustion engines in the process, keeping the entire supply chain CO2-neutral in terms of fuels.
