Following the EU Council of Ministers’ decision in favor of eFuels, there is now more good news: Because the construction of a production plant in Frankfurt Höchst, which was already planned for 2020 – with the participation of some members of the E-Fuels Forum, among others – is now really picking up speed!
Technology partner INERATEC recently announced that construction of the plant modules at the production site in Karlsruhe had already begun in April and that delivery and installation at the Industriepark Höchst site was scheduled for the end of this year.
Target production capacity of the plant: up to 3500 T/a (4.35 million liters) as an important contribution to the realization of the EU climate protection targets.
