There is probably no better way to sum up the current situation regarding electric cars, combustion engine/diesel technology and CO2 emissions.
Even if Dieter Nuhr is not a proven expert on mobility and traffic, his statement unfortunately still applies to large parts of the political discussion ductus today.
A small addition on the subject of diesel engines from us: Fueled with eFuels – i.e. CO2-neutral fuels from green electricity – the CO2 balance for diesel and gasoline engines would of course turn out much better in favor of conventional drive technologies.
