An economic perspective for developing countries

In order to be able to provide today’s global energy requirements against the background of the planned climate neutrality, a lot of “green” electricity is needed – in transportable form and in sufficient quantities. Global overall concepts are required, in which solar energy would have to be imported from North Africa or South America, for example.

For this, #eFuels would be a suitable solution, as they could be transported as “liquefied”, climate-neutral fuel from the producing countries via the existing infrastructure anywhere in the world. This would not only be practical and easily feasible, but would also open up great economic prospects for many sun-rich developing and emerging countries.
