For example, energate has just reported on the purchase of Preem AG by the energy company VARO Energy, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, which has not only become one of the world’s five largest producers of synthetic aviation fuel, but has also automatically strengthened its eFuels business with the Preem takeover.
And it is precisely such market and company developments, as well as countless other eFuels development and ramp-up projects worldwide, that show that synthetic fuels are seen as a solid building block for modern and future mobility!
All that is missing now is a clear political tailwind from Germany and Europe for truly technology-open mobility planning!
We are therefore very curious to see how much technological openness the new government will allow! Overturning the ban on combustion engines from 2035 would certainly send the right signal!
