Will the current proposal to soften the ban on combustion engines really help our car industry?
According to msn.com, Mahle boss Arnd Franz clearly says: NO!
According to the Mahle boss, there will still be a market for around two million combustion cars after 2035 with the current version – and as a supplier you could supply them with one or two factories!
Franz continued: “In this case, we will make our investments in the rest of the world, where technological openness is in demand,” said Franz. “More industrial jobs will then disappear in Europe and Germany.”
This is despite the fact that synthetic fuels such as HVO100 and eFuels can already be used to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in combustion engines.
