In view of world events in recent years, shouldn’t the issue of synthetic kerosene or fuels for aviation, shipping and road traffic have been given much more support long ago?
Of course: YES!
Unfortunately, this was not wanted for ideological reasons.
Due to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the International Energy Agency (IEA) is now even warning of possible flight cancellations due to fuel shortages in Europe, according to tagesschau.de. IEA head Fatih Birol told the AP news agency: “If the Strait of Hormuz, which is practically blocked due to the Iran war, remains closed and further supplies fail to materialize, flights will soon have to be cancelled.”
Perhaps the last proponents of the previous “electric only” strategy will now finally realize that this risky aberration must give way to an open-technology approach in all areas of transport!
We keep our fingers crossed!
