12 million subsidy for climate-neutral fuels

Things are moving forward!

Only recently BIOĂ–KONOMIE.de reported that Bavaria will promote two Fraunhofer institutes (in Straubing and Sulzbach) “with the development of climaticneutral fuels from biomass and carbon dioxide (…) with nearly 12 million euro “!

The focus here is on the use of “sustainable” fuels in shipping, aviation and commercial vehicles, since “liquid fuels with high energy density will continue to play a role” there.

Of course, it would then also make sense to produce these fuels at the same time for passenger car traffic, so that the existing internal combustion cars can also make their contribution to CO2 reduction worldwide.
