The importance of synthetic fuels (eFuels) in the transport and mobility transition was recently demonstrated again in an interview with Greenpeace co-founder Monika Griefahn in the FAZ newspaper.
She took a clear PRO eFuels position and also answered questions about the costs and efficiency of eFuels in a clearly positive way – unlike many supposed experts and critics who like to ignore economies of scale or overall considerations in their eFuels assessment.
In addition, she makes it clear in the interview that “electromobility and synthetic fuels complement each other,” thus demonstrating a high degree of healthy openness to technology
