In order to successfully master the energy transition, it is particularly important in the area of transport and mobility to push the issue of CO2-neutral, synthetic fuels (eFuels) with all our might – especially with a view to the sectors of cars, ships, aircraft or heavy trucks.
The German Federal Ministry of Transport has once again provided the impetus, holding out the prospect of a subsidy of a good 2 billion euros for eFuels. According to Capital, politicians and manufacturers are expecting a breakthrough into a new market worth billions.
