Having big, prominent advocates on your side is always good, of course – especially when it comes to personalities like Bill Gates.
According to BW24, the 66-year-old visionary and Microsoft founder is clearly in favor of biofuels and eFuels in his blog and considers electric drives unsuitable for transporting goods because the batteries are too large. This applies above all to the ship, aircraft and truck sectors. There would therefore be a partial superiority of synthetic fuels from green power over electric.
So is the question really: eFuels instead of eAutos? Porsche, at least, is resolutely continuing to develop a drive system with “green” fuel.
