GIZ and thyssenkrupp nucera for green hydrogen and Power-To-X

How much progress is the industrial ramp-up of synthetic fuels actually making?

Very strong!

Even though the red-green state government in Lower Saxony, for example, has just opposed the use of synthetic fuels – despite knowing better – renowned global players are taking a completely different approach.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and thyssenkrupp nucera are launching a partnership to promote the markets for green hydrogen and Power-to-X in India in early 2026. Together, they want to exploit the immense potential of the booming, open-technology Indian market to develop the scaling potential for green hydrogen and Power-to-X that exists there.
If it doesn’t work in Germany and the EU, then somewhere else.
According to thyssenkrupp nucera: “India’s rapid industrial growth and the great potential for renewable energies create ideal conditions for the ramp-up of green hydrogen and Power-to-X.”
Good to know:
Green hydrogen and Power-to-X are essential for the production of fossil-free fuel for aircraft, ships, construction machinery, trucks and cars.

We are keeping our fingers crossed for GIZ and thyssenkrupp nucera!
