eFuels for energy in data centers

Another interesting area of application for eFuels:

There are still lesser-known areas in which modern, synthetic fuels such as eFuels can significantly reduce CO2 emissions. One of them: CO2-neutral energy for data centers!

This is precisely why Rolls-Royce and INERATEC recently entered into a strategic partnership. The declared aim of the collaboration is to use synthetic eDiesel made from green hydrogen and CO2 from INERATEC in emergency power systems for data centers in the future – and thus establish a new role for eFuels in the digital age that has received little attention to date.

The collaboration begins with a targeted market launch in Germany – short delivery routes through INERATEC’s “ERA ONE” production site in Frankfurt ensure rapid implementation. INERATEC ‘s eFuels meet internationally recognized environmental standards (including ISCC) and are produced from renewable energies and CO2. In the long term, the two partners are aiming to implement their cooperation internationally.
