BMW boss Oliver Zipse expects the ban on combustion engines to be lifted soon

Does the German car industry really still believe that the EU ban on combustion engines will come into force in 2035?

Obviously: NO!!!

According to the SĂĽddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, BMW’s boss clearly expects the ban on combustion engines to be lifted “soon”.

The SĂĽddeutsche Zeitung continues: “Oliver Zipse believes that the ban on new cars with combustion engines from 2035 will be overturned in the next three years. He describes the current regulation as a ‘disaster’.”

Good for the climate: thanks to modern, synthetic fuels such as eFuels, HVO or KlimBenzin, existing combustion diesel and gasoline vehicles as well as new cars can already be operated with greatly reduced new CO2 emissions!

We keep our fingers crossed!
