“Cheap” combustion engines from China

Are the Chinese really banking everything on electric cars – as many media outlets keep claiming?

Of course not! According to AutoMotorSport, the British-Chinese car manufacturer MG has just added a new petrol engine to the powertrain range of the MG3 compact model and the MG ZS compact SUV – in other words: a combustion engine!!!

It’s a shame that despite this development and the poor e-car sales figures, the EU is still desperately sticking to its ideologically driven ban on combustion engines – even though it may now want to postpone it!

And it’s also a shame, as diesel vehicles can already be operated with up to 90% less CO2 thanks to renewable fuels such as eFuels and HVO!

So: Dear Mr. Merz, make good on your promise from the European election campaign 24 and completely overturn the ban on combustion engines! The environment, motorists and your voters would certainly thank you for it!
