Prof. Koch: Replace fossil fuel with CO2-neutral fuel as quickly as possible

Almost every existing car with an internal combustion engine in the world could already be operated climate-neutrally with synthetic fuels (eFuels) today. And that without rebuilding.

Thomas Koch, professor of mechanical engineering and specialist in combustion engines, therefore criticizes the EU decision on the possible phasing out of internal combustion engines according to Cicero and warns of the consequences. He also explains “how we could get around in an environmentally friendly and climate-neutral way with hybrid drives and renewable fuels – if the political will were there.”
