Many processes and concepts are currently being developed in Germany and around the world in order to at least come close to achieving our ambitious net-zero CO2 target by 2050.
According to the NZZ, the Obrist Group at the development center in Lindau is now presenting a new, “technically efficient and economically interesting” approach.
In addition to “reducing emissions”, this also involves “retrieving CO2 from the atmosphere”, which will be necessary in relation to our climate targets.
Especially for the production of synthetic fuels, the integration of this process would of course be a further valuable optimization step.
