At least15 million electric cars are to be on German roads by 2030 – at least that is the goal of the traffic light coalition, according to Handelsblatt. But experts believe that this will not happen.
For example, 90 percent of all newly registered cars would soon have to be e-vehicles for Germany to reach its target. But e-car sales are currently rather sluggish due to various causes.

eFuels (synthetic fuels) in combustion cars could help to significantly improve the carbon footprint. In production, they are – depending on the product – up to 100% CO2 neutral.
