It is a very good sign, after all, when even the“electric car news” takes up the concerns presented by EU Commissioner Breton and explicitly draws the conclusion from them:
“And this is also where the much-discussed eFuels come back into play. This is because this fuel could also be used to operate internal combustion engines in a climate-neutral manner – provided that the fuel is produced exclusively using CO2-free energy generation. Another construction site that urgently needs to be addressed if passenger car mobility is to become climate-neutral worldwide.”
Perhaps now even the last Allelectric-eAuto advocate will realize that eFuels are also urgently needed in Europe, since we have neither the raw materials necessary for eMobility, nor the mass of green electricity.
