De DLR Falcon mat de uitstoot van de D328 UpLift op een afstand van 50 tot 500 meter. <\/p>\n<p><span class=\"html-span xexx8yu x4uap5 x18d9i69 xkhd6sd x1hl2dhg x16tdsg8 x1vvkbs x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xat24cr xgzva0m xhhsvwb xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od\">Het doel was om niet alleen de CO2-voetafdruk van het luchtverkeer te verminderen, maar ook de uitstoot van deeltjes en klimaatopwarmende contrails, en zo de weg vrij te maken voor een klimaatvriendelijke luchtvaart. Vanaf de luchthaven van Oberpfaffenhofen hebben de eerste emissiemetingen op de grond en vier onderzoeksvluchten met 100% synthetische brandstof al plaatsgevonden.
