{"id":9829,"date":"2024-06-24T06:29:15","date_gmt":"2024-06-24T06:29:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.efuels-forum.de\/2024\/06\/24\/efuels-lecture-by-mark-jorczyk-in-altencelle\/"},"modified":"2024-06-24T06:29:15","modified_gmt":"2024-06-24T06:29:15","slug":"efuels-lecture-by-mark-jorczyk-in-altencelle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.efuels-forum.de\/en\/2024\/06\/24\/efuels-lecture-by-mark-jorczyk-in-altencelle\/","title":{"rendered":"eFuels lecture by Mark Jorczyk in Altencelle"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gmail-\">\n<div class=\"gmail-_1mf gmail-_1mj\"><strong>The <span class=\"gmail-_5zk7\">climate targets<\/span> for <span class=\"gmail-_5zk7\">mobility<\/span> can only be achieved with an energy mix of <span class=\"gmail-_5zk7\">e-cars<\/span> and <span class=\"gmail-_5zk7\">e-fuels<\/span> (synthetic fuels) and <a href=\"https:\/\/klima-kraftstoffe.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"gmail-_5zk7\">climate diesel<\/span> <\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>As part of the 5th Citizens&#8217; Dialogue &#8220;What moves Altencelle?&#8221;, Mark Jorczyk, Managing Director of <a href=\"https:\/\/jorczyk-energie.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n  <span class=\"gmail-_247o\">Jorczyk Energie KG<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a> and speaker at the eFuels Forum, explained the reasons and context of this statement to the members of the interested Altencelle <span class=\"gmail-_5zk7\">CDU local association<\/span> with regard to the topic of the &#8220;future of energy&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that Germany is dependent on imports of renewable energies from South America or Africa, for example, in order to achieve the planned <strong>CO2 neutrality<\/strong> by 2045. Because there is enough wind and sun in the world &#8211; only transportation by cable is too expensive and does not solve the existing storage problem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The solution is to liquefy green electricity<\/strong> into green fuel, also known as eFuels. This type of fuel can be used in cars, trucks, agricultural and construction machinery and ships as well as in aircraft. eFuels can be used flexibly anywhere and can be used in the existing global infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>In his presentation, Jorczyk criticized the fact that the current policy in Germany on the subject of eFuels is ideologically driven because it does not permit their use for passenger cars. There needs to be a rethink in the direction of technological openness, as set out in the CDU&#8217;s new basic principles. In addition to eFuels, KlimaDiesel <span class=\"gmail-_5zk7\">HVO100<\/span> can also be a solution for defossilization.
