According to the specialist portal Sprit+<\/span>, the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs(BDMV<\/span>) announced on April 10 that “the CO2<\/span> tax<\/span> for climate-friendly HVO<\/span> diesel<\/a> (fuels from residual and waste materials) will no longer apply”.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This goes hand in hand with the amendment to the 10th Federal Immission Control Ordinance<\/span> (10th BImSchV) by resolution of the Federal Cabinet, which allows the free sale of HVO100<\/span> at public filling stations<\/span>, and the exemption from the CO2 tax means that there will be “no increase in costs for the end consumer”.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
