KG.<\/a>  &#8211; from the mid-sized energy trading company has in July 2023 against exactly this  <strong>tightening of CO2 emission standards<\/strong> filed a lawsuit before the European Court of Justice, as this regulation  <strong>slows down the development, production and sale of CO2-neutral synthetic fuels for motor vehicles to the detriment of climate protection.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>The plaintiffs also feel that their fundamental rights, such as that of entrepreneurial freedom <\/strong>, have been<strong>violated<\/strong>. The defendant in the proceedings is the <strong>European Union<\/strong>, represented by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union.
