Stuttgart, Hoya, April 29, 2026 – <\/span>Synthetic fuels are a key building block for mobility with significantly lower CO<\/i>2<\/sub><\/i><\/span>-new emissions. At UNITI expo 2026 in Stuttgart, the eFuels Forum and its partners will be demonstrating how far technologies and projects have already progressed in the Future Mobility Lounge. At the same time, it is clear that reliable political framework conditions and investment security are needed for the ramp-up. <\/i><\/p>\n

The transformation of mobility is picking up speed and synthetic fuels play a central role in this. At this year’s UNITI expo in Stuttgart (May 19 to 21, 2026), the eFuels Forum will be presenting itself together with leading partners in the Future Mobility Lounge in Hall 1 and providing insights into specific projects, technologies and investment opportunities relating to eFuels. <\/p>\n

In recent years, numerous initiatives aimed at making synthetic fuels ready for the market have emerged, particularly in the German SME sector. In addition to communication platforms such as the eFuels Forum, targeted investment initiatives such as the eFUEL GROUP and technology projects have been launched. Three of these projects are the focus of the trade fair presentation: CAPHENIA, DACMA and German eFuel One. Technology partners such as CAC ENGINEERING <\/span>will be represented at the stand.<\/p>\n

Visitors can expect a comprehensive overview along the entire value chain. From basic information on synthetic fuels from the eFuels Forum to specific investment approaches and current and planned projects, the stand offers a practical insight into the world of eFuels. A particular focus will be on innovative technologies that enable the ramp-up of synthetic fuels. These include processes for the production of methanol-based fuels and technologies for CO\u2082 separation from the air. Insights into the CAPHENIA project that has already been launched in Frankfurt-H\u00f6chst and the planned German eFuel One project will illustrate the current state of development and the next steps towards industrial production. <\/p>\n

With the further expansion of the Future Mobility Lounge, the topic of mobility with significantly less CO2<\/sub><\/span>-emissions compared to the use of fossil fuels. However, it is also clear that a reliable political framework is crucial for a successful market ramp-up of synthetic fuels. Investments require planning security and clear prospects for future market access. The first steps have been taken, but further impetus is needed to fully exploit the potential of eFuels. <\/p>\n

About the eFuels Forum:<\/b><\/p>\n

The eFuels Forum was founded in summer 2021 and now consists of over 50 energy companies and interest groups from all over Germany as well as the technology partner CAC Engineering GmbH. The platform aims to inform the general public about eFuels. In addition to two Germany-wide information tours, the eFuels Forum is also active at trade fairs and other events as well as on the social media platforms Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
