Does the planned EU ban on combustion engines really pose a massive threat to Germany as a business location?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course: YES!<\/p>\n

The extent of this threat can now even be seen in the latest demands made by IG Metall boss Benner. She told“Automobilwoche<\/a>” according to“Handelsblatt<\/a>“: Her union wants prospects for employees in the automotive industry, especially at suppliers. (…)
\nDirect quote: “To achieve this, we need more flexibility than the EU Commission’s draft provides for so far” (…) “I would love to take a clearer course towards electric vehicles. But I also see what is happening to jobs in the automotive industry and especially in the supplier industry.” <\/p>\n

After all, reality is stronger than ideological wishful thinking scenarios!<\/p>\n

It’s just as well that synthetic fuels such as eFuels and HVO can be used to significantly reduce CO2 emissions in existing and future combustion engines. Otherwise, all climate targets would be almost unattainable with such a change of course. <\/p>\n
