According to Auto, Motor und Sport, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is abolishing the ban on combustion engines in the USA with a “radical change of course”!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The main focus here is on the controversial emissions regulations, which – similar to those in the EU – have so far virtually prevented the continued operation of combustion vehicles, even with climate-friendly synthetic fuels. This is now coming to an end in the USA. These are now being “abolished”, which means that the “de facto ban on combustion vehicles is off the table”. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nThe article also talks about the “return of V8 engines”. And the SEMA association also sees the “lifting of regulations as a return to freedom of choice: whether combustion engine or electric car – customers should decide for themselves!” <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\nThe EU and Germany should certainly give more thought to this new freedom of choice and openness to technology in the USA. After all, nothing can be as hostile to the future as an ideologically driven prohibition system. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
