How shaky is the current status quo of our energy transition?<\/p>\n

Apparently: VERY Wobbly!<\/span><\/p>\n

According to UNITI, the new Federal Minister of Economics, Katherina Reiche, announced an \u201cEnergy Resilience Strategy\u201d just last week at the BDEW Congress.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

As a result, a broad portfolio of technologies should contribute to energy security and independence from China, for example with regard to raw materials. Reiche is also calling for more pragmatism at European level when it comes to hydrogen and its derivatives. <\/span><\/p>\n

UNITI Managing Director Elmar K\u00fchn comments:
\n<\/span>\u201cWe consider it positive that the Federal Ministry of Economics, under its new leadership, wants to actively promote more economical production criteria and imports of hydrogen, as well as include all potential areas of application for H2 and H2 derivatives equally.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

And further:
\n<\/span>\u201cA pragmatic energy strategy that is open to all technologies, as outlined in initial approaches by Federal Minister of Economics Reiche, would increase our country’s resilience in terms of energy and raw materials and at the same time promote the ramp-up of climate-friendly, hydrogen-based technologies.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
