Does the whole world really only rely on electric cars?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of course not!
\n<\/span>So reports the <\/span>car media portal<\/a>reports that Skoda, for example, will in future be supplying all diesel models produced in the Czech Republic with HVO fuel for the first fill – surely a sign of things to come!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It goes on to say:
\n<\/span>The alternative fuel is transparent, virtually odorless and, at 70, has a significantly higher cetane number than fossil diesel at 51. The higher cetane number stands for greater ignitability – this property improves the efficiency of combustion in the cylinder. This in turn contributes to lower pollutant emissions, especially particulates. In addition, HVO fuel is free of sulphur, aromatic hydrocarbons and hydrocarbons with a high boiling point. This also reduces pollutant emissions and shortens the regeneration cycles of diesel particulate filters (DPF). <\/p>\n
