In our current foreign policy situation, does it really make sense to continue inflexibly sticking to the combustion engine phase-out and the “all-electric” strategy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Around 70 scientists – including engine experts and many professors from German universities and colleges in the fields of automotive engineering, process engineering and chemistry – say quite clearly: NO!<\/span><\/p>\n

According to FOCUS<\/a>, they wrote an open letter expressing their concern that Germany would become dangerously dependent on electrical energy – and on foreign raw materials – in the event of war or a crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reason: Contrary to all promises made during the election campaign, the new government will probably stick to the old traffic light plans and want to rapidly dismantle our filling station infrastructure and our gas network!<\/span><\/p>\n

The scientists, on the other hand, are calling for a “reversal of the deindustrialization that has already begun by reducing bureaucracy, lowering energy costs and significantly promoting sustainable, renewable, material energy sources for transport (fuels), heat (combustibles) and chemicals (basic chemicals)”.<\/span><\/p>\n
