Climate-friendly aviation fuel from biogas – is that possible? Even with a view to large-scale production? <\/strong><\/p>\n

The ambitious Bavarian company Caphenia<\/span><\/a> in Bernau am Chiemsee clearly says: YES!<\/span><\/p>\n

CAPHENIA founder Mark Misselhorn told agrarheute.com<\/a>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“There is more than enough biomass worldwide to produce renewable fuels for aviation and shipping.”<\/p>\n

It also states:
\n<\/span>He sees enormous potential: over 500 million tons of renewable fuels could be produced worldwide with this technology – enough to supply the entire transport sector.
\nCaphenia is currently working on a prototype on the site of a former German chemical company. The centerpiece is a three-story high reactor that has to withstand temperatures of up to 1,500 \u00b0C. The reactor was specially developed by MAN Energy Solutions in Straubing. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It’s a shame that many critics today still often talk down this functioning alternative in order to keep the focus on ideological solutions – because renewable fuels could certainly provide simple answers to many of our as yet unresolved mobility issues!<\/span><\/span>Perhaps this attitude towards renewable fuels will change as a result of the federal elections on February 23rd!
