According to spiegel.de, Gabriel also noted that the ban on combustion engines from 2035 onwards is all the more questionable because &#8220;a new diesel car must not shy away from comparison with the environmental impact of a battery-powered vehicle over the entire lifetime of the car.&#8221; In addition, these diesel vehicles could also be operated with alternative, synthetic fuels (eFuels) in a significantly more climate-friendly way!
