Do other economic areas apart from Germany and Europe also rely solely on electromobility for their cars?<\/strong> It looks like: NO! Just recently, for example, Idemitsu Kosan Co, Ltd, ENEOS Corporation, Toyota Motor Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. announced that they have begun a study on the “Introduction and Dissemination of CO2-neutral Fuels” in Japan!<\/a> The aim is to “introduce CO2-neutral fuels in Japan by 2030” in order to continue on the path of “decarbonizing automobiles” – always with the ultimate goal of “realizing a CO2-neutral society”.
\nGood to know <\/strong>“CO2-neutral fuels are fuels that limit CO2 emissions over the entire product life cycle. This is a collective term that includes synthetic fuels (e-fuels) that are produced from hydrogen and CO2, as well as biofuels that are produced from raw materials such as plants that absorb CO2 through photosynthesis. Liquid CO2-neutral fuels in particular are advantageous in terms of energy storage and energy transport and are suitable as transportable energy sources.” <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It’s a shame that we Germans and Europeans are currently finding it difficult to make forward-looking decisions in such a constructive and technologically open way.
